oh nothing, just painting a giant wall sized cow mural at our new work digs, as one does. and nooooo, i’m not painting the whole thing. all the employees have an opportunity to come paint as much or as little as they want. then artist valerie miller from steel cow goes over it and makes it look amazing.
i’m not sure how to square these findings with the fact that i’ve long said that in a parallel universe very close to our own i live alone in cabin in the middle of nowhere writing manifestos: “The effect of population density on life satisfaction was therefore more than twice as large for low-IQ individuals than for high-IQ individuals,” they found. And “more intelligent individuals were actually less satisfied with life if they socialized with their friends more frequently.”
i didn’t wake up on the first day or spring thinking i’d run 12 miles. in fact, when i woke up i thought i’d enjoy a rare Do Nothing Day with the end of the regular hockey season and no pressure to drive all around the upper midwest and sit in frigid hockey arenas. i guess i don’t do nothing very well ( which i don’t think is always a positive thing ).
i stiiiiiill haven’t committed to anything but it sure seems like i’m training for something. i could have easily ran 15 or 18 miles.
we got a bit of snow last night. i wonder if this will be my last run of the year with the white stuff on the ground.
many, many people are very, very happy that we are coming back with flavored half and half. one of those people is rohan marley who happens to be the chairman of marley coffee, a former pro football player and son of bob Marley!
i was walking past his booth while at a show to officially announce the relaunch, saw he already had them at his coffee station and of course I had to say “hi” and take a picture of him with my new “babies” that you will soon be able to find everywhere.
oh, the flavored half and half tastes incredible AND THE NEW BOTTTLES ARE GORGEOUS! super tough gig spending a week in southern california, listening to people rave about your new products 🙂
after 4 months of sitting in hockey arenas on weekends, i almost can’t believe the season is just about over. two games against onalaska today, the kids lost the first game 3-4 but won the second and last game of the regular season 4-3!
it’s always good to end the season with a win!
the next time they play a game it will be against dodgeville in the state championships on march 12th. they lost to dodgeville by one point in a game earlier in the season and i think they really want to avenge that loss. should be a good game.
