while that’s not nothing, it’s certainly makes it easier to get it for odin and not feel too much pain if ( when? ) he breaks it while starting to explore his interest in extreme sports videography 🙂 you can see the camera’s capabilities on their youtube page. i expect we’ll see much more video from odin soon.
unboxing impressions were great. he had the app downloaded in and was controlling the camera from his iPod in no time.
as is our tradition, odin opened a gift on christmas eve. how on earth did santa know he’d love a whole pile of 2015-2016 nhl hockey cards?! AND WHY ON EARTH IS HE STILL UP AT ALOST MIDNIGHT?!
i thought it’d be fun to get a festive picture in front of the christmas tree with grandparents and cousins but didn’t anticipate odin would block most of the tree. he’s almost taller than grandma!
odin’s new hockey magnet photo arrived and it reminds me how time flies!
amusingly, i remember thinking when we enrolled him in the learn to play hockey program at our local arena when he was three ( at his request ), “oooooh, that won’t last.”
odin’s choice of words on the message on his bedroom door is interesting and insightful. it’s a natural tween declaration of a need for independent space, but not a strict command to not enter. just a reminder that it’s his space and not ours.
