they didn’t win the state hockey championships but they played tough and won our hearts 🙂
they won their third and last game so ended on a high note. nobody can take away the fact that they have the best record in their league!
congrats to all on a super season. hard to believe it’s odin’s last season as a squirt. next year he’ll be playing on pee wee team with 11 and 12 year olds!

now I’ve got motorhead’s “when the eagle screams” stuck in my head whenever I walk by the wall art at our state hockey championship hotel.
a print of a very “vintage” foodservice poster concept from years ago featuring organic valley “continental” butter pats put together to look like stonehenge. if memory serves the concept was a joke done by designers but i always enjoyed the idea and kept it in the office.
it till amuses me that around 6 years ago I took a photo of me stealing peas from theresa marquez’s organic valley employee garden plot ( she was then the ov chief marketing officer ) and somehow it ended up on the wall of our employee cafe ( seen here on the left ). And even more improbably it survived the hq fire from a few years ago, and was put back up after the rehab and redesign of the cafe after the fire.
with no clear exit strategy if frida sees a squirrel 🙂
it’s 50F warmer in southwest wisconsin than when I left 9 days ago! And that means the jetta tdi sportwagon is back to getting above 50 mpg!
