coming home from hockey practice at the omnicenter, odin and i stopped to admire the view. looking northwest across the river, belle island to the left and rosebud island to the right.

16 year old me would be mortified to learn 42 year old me gets together with a group of adults and their children to play music and sing songs. all jokes about me singing “if i only had a brain” will be sent to /dev/null.
we’ve been doing it for years. turns out it’s good, clean fun. the kids enjoy it and it’s a great excuse for me to challenge my inner hermit.

going through old papers and pleased to see the article kris and i wrote with photo I took at altoona tournament was eventually published in our local newspaper a few weeks after we submitted it.

for 10 years, i’ve wanted to do a “365 project”. one photo a day, for 365 days. i didn’t plan on starting today but there’s no time like the present. we’ll see if I can keep this up.
