camp is on an idyllic, quiet spring fed lake with trout and loons in whiting maine close to the coast. it’s been the family camp for something like 70 years. odin’s great grandfather built the rock wall around the cove in the 1960s that’s still standing today.
day 4425: you (almost) can’t get there from here.
day 4425: four hours more of driving and we’re finally in maine!
day 4425: and all too soon it’s time for an early run and a swim.
day 4425: 14 hours later and finally in albany, new york!
12 hours into 13 hour drive that was supposed to be 11.
don’t let anyone fool you, thirteen hours is a long time in a car. passing time with audiobooks helps! Some.
well into book one of “the janitors”. seems like it’s going to be a great series.
