after a fantastic pumpkin patch adventure we headed out to gays mills, wisconsin for a true taste of fall by visiting the area’s renowned apple orchards.
over a hundred years ago someone discovered the banks of soil around the kickapoo river makes for some great apples and now more than a thousand acres producing apples nationally known for their color and flavor.
( the sun was in his eyes when i took the picture so he wanted to wear his mother’s sunglasses. )
hmmm, which is better? the honeycrisp apple cider, or the other one?
the honeycrisp, for sure.
i will not make a joke about being surprised that the apple wont fit into his big mouth. i will not make a joke about being surprised that the caramel apple wont fit into his big mouth. i will not make a joke about being surprised that the apple wont fit into his big mouth. i will not make a joke about being surprised that the apple wont fit into his big mouth.
one can’t help but wonder what prompted the instruction on the sign to not put your through the hole.
kickapoo orchards has a fun corn and sunflower maze that must be specatacular when the sunflowers are in full bloom and the trees are at peak color.
debated if it would be a good idea to tell odin about the family that got so lost in a corn maze they had to call 911 and be rescued by the police?
i decided it probably wasn’t the best idea.
