we were very pleasantly surprised to find this postcard from kyle ( who has quite nice penmanship for being 15 months old. kyle was given only a 5% chance of survival when he was born on december 30th, 2003 at 24 weeks gestation weighing 1lb 1oz.

and to think that now his parents are taking him on long vacations to memphis and beyond!

long time readers will remember that kyle’s mom katra frequently left very helpful, supportive and knowing comments on ex machina while we were in the nicu and for that we are eternally grateful. thanks!
