kati started the “postcards from budapest” thread by being kind enough to offer to send little odin a postcard. it’s amazing to see what one person’s random act of kindness can turn into when you throw the internet into the mix.

amusingly, i don’t think we ever got a postcard from budapest – but she did send us this one from vienna, austria. the postcard shows examples architecture ispired by the “jugendstil” or “art nouveau” movement, which was popularized by austrian architects such as otto wagner.

a few people have asked privately via email, so it’s probably a good idea to mention that – yes – odin would be more than happy to receive your holiday season well wishes! the post office box is still valid and will remain so for the forseable future.
