right before raising the wind turbine, the crane got stuck in the mud created by the sleet/snow mix that was falling that morning.

the on-site new holland tractor wasn’t powerful enough to pull out the crane, so we had to scramble and ask a neighbor to bring over their john deere which, much to the chagrin of the new holland owner, was able to pull out the 90,000 LB crane.

i think this will be a source of neighborly ribbing for years to come.
