cropp cooperative/organic valley’s on-farm sustainability efforts aren’t limited to sunny fields of sunflowers which get turned into turned into biodiesel. we’re also helping producers put wind turbines on their farms that generate renewable energy for operations.

it was a pleasure and a privilege to be able to get out and watch the culmination of many folk’s efforts with the raising of the turbine on mark and jen shepard’s farm in richland county, wisconsin, even if it was a blustery afternoon.

then again, that’s the perfect weather for generating renewable energy 🙂
