when he’s not doing simple shape sorting and trying to put one thing into another, odin has been spending a great deal of time mastering the complexities of putting on and taking of lids; i think he may only be days away from stumbling upon the “lefty loosey, righty tighty” rule, which is quite a complex concept to grok.
but sure enough, he can now spot caps and lids of all shapes and sizes – from pop bottles to jugs of laundry detergent – and if he can’t quite untwist the top, he’ll bring it to us and plead for us to give him a hand untwisting it so he can gingerly attempt to screw if back on as he attempts to figure out why it doesn’t stay on after one applies an equal number of twists in either direction.
