yes, it’s true. the power of hindsight makes it frighteningly obvious that if you have an infant who is fascinated with pulling the night-light out of its electrical socket it might not be a good idea to try and deter his efforts by placing the diaper pail in front of it, if he has also recently discovered that tipping over diaper pails can be a fun way to pass the time when he doesn’t feel like sleeping.

maybe next we can just put a blinking neon arrow pointing towards the night-light to make it even more captivating.

you’d think we were just begging to have piles of old, dirty diapers strewn all over the floor 🙂
