while we try not be overly neurotic about odin’s weight gains and really are quite impressed with the fact that he weighs over 20 pounds ( 9 kilos ), we’d be lying if we didn’t admit that we probably spend more time talking about how his clothes fit than your average parent of a “full term” infant.

and we likely talk more about this pair of jeans than any other article of clothing because not only are they obnoxiously large on him given their 6-12 month sizing, but they apparently are growing!

over the past few months, each time we put them on him, they improbably fit him worse than they did the last time we tried and we can only conclude that they’re made from some sort of space age fabric that for reasons unknown has never been used to make any adult pants that i’ve ever worn.

at the rate they’re lengthening and widening, we figure that we may never have to buy him another pair of jeans again!

and yes, of course we’re thinking of cutting off small swatches of the pants and putting them in petri dishes to see if we can grow new pairs to sell on ebay.
