the postcard project: toronto, ontario.

more than one person sent us a postcard with a christmas scene in it and whever we ‘d receive one, i’d wonder why a christmas scene? did they just happen to have a postcard with a christmas scene sitting around the house in the middle of the summer? or did the giftshop they visited to get a card still carry winter postcards? in anycase, i guess these are the things you think about when you’re in the nicu in the summer and fall, looking at christmas scenes. now, of course, it seems perfectly timely.

this is another postcard from toronto, ontario and shows the city hall and nathan phillips square.

on the back of the card ava, a particularly articulate 13 month old baby, tells of her own adventure as a 28 weeker.
