odin is starting kindergarten tomorrow, so today we went and checked out his classroom.

we asked him if he wanted to take anything to show his teacher. he decided that she would really want to see his new rollerblades that his cousin gave him, a yardstick he got at a labor day parade in the up ( fun because it "counts" up to 36 ) and a watercolor painting that he recently made.
