nearly 5 months after prepping the yard we were all very excited to have a small army of volunteers arrive to help us build our sauna.

little did i know that 8 hours later, i’d be shivering, shaking and vomiting after succumbing to the flu. and a day later the flu would take out my father-in-law and brother-in-law.

nothing says "thanks for coming to help build our sauna", like the flu 🙂
