well, the dogs have moved on from killing raccoons to squirrels. we discovered mauja happily munching on the beheaded carcass of an unlucky squirrel this afternoon. and since he’s too slow to catch a squirrel on his own, we’re guessing that cadence had a hand in executing the deed.

it’s not like i’m a fan of squirrels and i’m all for “nature’s way”, but does it have to go on in our backyard? hopefully none of the neighbor’s cats make the mistake of wandering into the dog’s dominion.
