out working in the garden we discovered this ring sitting right on top of the soil, perfectly clean. with the inscription “14K FG” on the inside of the band. cynical as i am of The Garden Faeries’ intentions, i assumed the FG stood for fool’s gold. but it appears that it might be the trademark the manufacturer, Frederick Goldman.
