hurray! we harvested the first bulb from our first attempt at growing garlic in our organic valley employee garden, and while i was worried that it might be moldy after being water-logged for weeks, it appears that our 250 head of garlic survived unscathed ( assuming, of course, that this specimen is a representative sample ).
so we can now move from processing scapes to drying a whole lotta of garlic.
half of the crop will be used for seed next year.
