er. o.k.
Warchalking is theft,
says Nokia:
“Warchalking, the technique of highlighting areas where
wireless networks can be accessed freely, has been blasted as
theft. And the practitioners of warchalking are being slammed as bandwidth
thieves in an advisory issued by mobile and wireless vendor
Nokia.”
i guess it makes a much sexier headline than,
“warchalking of open nodes without the permission of node owners
who are forced to abide by restrictive acceptable use policies is
theft.”
