keeping with tradition in the snowdeal household, saint nicholas stops by our house on december 5th and fills one of odin’s boots with gifts.

we get a little advance notice on the gifts and this year, st. nicholas left some finger puppets, an ornament and some chocolates in his rain boot.

luckily for odin, st. nicholas was not accompanied by knecht ruprecht who has been known to threaten to beat, or sometimes actually beat the children for misbehaviour 🙂
