i have a bit of plaster ceiling that needs repairing. it appears that a textured finishing coat has been applied on top of plaster "brown board" ( i think that’s what it’s called, but maybe i’m wrong ).

anyone know how to replicate this finishing coat? what is it? plaster? how do i get that texture? help!

update: i think it’s a perlite/plaster mix that’s rolled on.
