most people know how much odin loves to take a sauna so it’s that much more nice when we go to visit many of his relatives and they have their very own saunas. doesn’t everyone?

so, while the adults toiled away while building a pool deck, odin and his cousin ella enjoyed the relaxing benefits of a traditional finnish sauna.

and yes, they thought it was tremendously amusing to "throw steam" while i was futzing with the camera 🙂

looooooong timers may recall that ella holds the dubious distinction of being the first subject of a photograph uploaded to my flickr photostream just weeks before odin was born. it’s hard to believe five years has flown by.
