instead of buying a shiny, new macbook in these uncertain economic times, i decided to try my hand at replacing the harddrive in my aging ibook g4.

could apple make it any more challenging to swap out a drive? sheesh. despite my initial trepidation, i slogged my way through the ifixit guide and managed to put in the new drive without breaking anything!

just one measly screw left over out of the hundred or so i removed. hopefully it wasn’t the important one 🙂
