i just learned of a film entitled “little man” that documents the nicu rollercoaster of the surrogate child of filmaker nicole conn. nicholas was born 100 days early ( odin was born about 105 days ) and weighed about a pound.

it’s won a bunch of awards and the reviews look mostly positive. but i’m not so sure i’d be up for seeing it just yet since most of the reviews seem to describe it as “raw”, “devastating” and “challenging”.

maybe it’d be a good recommendation for friends and family of (micro)preemie parents who don’t fully appreciate why they might suffer from post traumatic stress disorder 🙂
