o.k. i realize that probably nobody is interested in a seeminly endless series of photos of odin eating. but it’s a new thing for us which makes every feeding fun and exciting.

and beyond just the fact of the newness, i have to admit that he’s so expressive that it just blows me away. this is another one of times where i catch myself remembering how different things were as a non-parent; sure, i’d seen pictures of food smeared from one end of an infant to another, but i never really thought beyond the “ha! look at the messy baby!” reaction.

little did i know that there was a whole lot more going on than just a mess being made.

so, today i decided to do my best to look beyond the smeared food to capture just a few of the many faces of odin.
