claims surrounding the “reactionless” EmDrive have been causing head scratching for a number of years since it seems to violate basic laws of physics including the conservation of momentum but a team in china has been plugging away at designs and now claims to have successfully tested a microwave relativity engine ( EmDrive). of course, it could be an elaborate fraud, or just bad science but it might – just might – represent a true breakthrough in spacecraft design and propulsion. maybe.
