- Evaluated and created a strategy around the area of telemedicine for Motorola, and became an internal expert who was involved in all subsequent discussions that were pertinent to Motorola's opportunities into healthcare. I worked with internal groups and planning teams to define business, user, technology and localization requirements for prototype devices for use in areas such as clinical trial data capture to drug regimen reminders. The prototypes were presented to Clinton's head of AIDS effort as well as in front of the CEO of Aetna Health Insurance.
- Created the business strategy for the nascent field of bioinformatics, which resulted in the founding of one of today's fastest growing firms. I contributed to the development of business development, brainstorming and business strategy artifacts. Additionally, I conducted market research to determine validity of the efforts and direction and served as the account manager for several clients.
- As senior strategist for the America's region of the Global Software Group, I played an important role as it took its first steps beyond being an internal service provider to working with external clients. In this capacity, I worked with centers in the US, Canada, Mexico and Argentina and developed a system for training staff to on how to create feasibility research reports for new products and services.
