the prolific ( and edible ) taraxacum officinale.

a evolutionary wonder, a single taraxacum officinale ( common dandelion ) can produce more than 5,000 seeds a year, which means my yard could easily produce millions of seeds this year alone 🙂

hi. ho. the leaves are high in vitamin A, vitamin C and iron – more iron and calcium than spinach! maybe it’s time to brush up on the many culinary uses of the common dandelion.

if you can’t beat ’em, eat em!
