i admit to having been unaware of the tradition of thanksgiving turkey coloring contests until kris saw just such a contest put on by our local kickapoo free press and recalled fondly dutifully entering similar contests year after year when she was a child.

a winning turkey coloring will be picked from the submissions and the winner will get a t-shirt and a place in an upcoming issue of the paper, but win-or-lose odin had a whole lot of fun coloring his colorful entry.
